Renovation Estimator/Project Manager

Rocket Renovations is looking for a Renovation Estimator/Project Manager who can work with us full-time, on a contract basis. Our ideal candidate would have 2-4 years experience estimating and managing residential renovation projects. You would be responsible for meeting with potential clients, measuring job sites, taking notes on all the renovations required, and then writing up detailed quotes based on that information. We would also look to you to manage some of our renovation projects. In this capacity you will work with the construction manager to come up with the project schedule, counsel customers on design options and order materials and supplies. You will also be asked to manage project budgets, address customer concerns, and write weekly updates for customers. Basic computer skills are required to use Word, Excel, internet and email. You have your own transportation and cell phone. Your hours of work must be flexible because some customer quotes are in the evenings.

Renovation Supervisor Assistant

Rocket Renovations looking for a Renovation Supervisor Assistant who can work with us full-time, on a contract basis. Our ideal candidate would have 3-5 years experience as a labourer for residential renovation projects or new housing. You would be responsible for demolitions of kitchens and bathrooms, site cleans, dump runs, cementing plumbing trenches, maintenance and service calls, framing fixes and drywall backing, minor plumbing, minor electrical, drywall repairs, paint touch ups, hanging doors, finish carpentry, installing towel bars, and general detailing before customer turnovers. You are able to teach others, act as lead hand on the jobsite, and work on your own or as a team to problem solve. You have your own transportation and cell phone.

Experienced Labourer

Rocket Renovations is looking for an experienced labourer who can work with us full-time, on a contract basis. Our ideal candidate would have experience as a labourer for residential renovation projects or new housing. You would be responsible for demolitions of kitchens and bathrooms, site cleans, dump runs, cementing plumbing trenches, maintenance and service calls, framing fixes and drywall backing, minor plumbing, minor electrical, drywall repairs, paint touch ups, hanging doors, finish carpentry, installing towel bars, and general detailing before customer turnovers.
